Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a systematic maintenance for the improvement and broadening of knowledge, understanding and skills, and the development of personal qualities. Professional bodies adopt formal CPD schemes to encourage and in theory compel members to keep up-to-date and enhance their competence.
Professional Bodies CPD Points
In order to retain membership, members of professional bodies are required to collect CPD points. These CPD points can be collected by joining the courses offered by Inspire@Learning, subject to the professional bodies' terms and conditions.
UTAR CPD Activities
UTAR academic staff are required to attend at least 40 hours of relevant training per year with the exception of FMHS staff who are required to attend at least a minimum of seven days of training per year.

Registration of E-Certificate of Completion for CPD
Upon the completion of recognised courses in Inspire@Learning, please complete the 'Registration of E-Certificate of Attendance' form for the issuance of e-certificate by Centre for Extension Education, UTAR before applying for CPD points.
