Buddy Programme

The Buddy Programme provides an opportunity for the exchange students to experience student life at UTAR and learn about the Malaysian culture and community, besides exchanging ideas, sharing experiences and acquiring learning skills. The programme appoints a local student (Buddy) to guide the exchange students throughout their stay. Various interesting activities are prepared to strengthen the bond between the buddy and the exchange students. The activities include “Welcome and Farewell Gatherings” and “UTAR International Day” where the students work together to showcase various cultures and promote the concept - Internationalisation at Home.
